GMC Announces New Hummer…And It’s an EV
Ford just reintroduced the Bronco. Jeep decided to put a 392 HEMI V8 in a Jeep Wrangler. And now GM wants a slice of the pie. That’s why it introduced an all-new version of the iconic Hummer, this time as a GMC vehicle instead of its own brand. But something is very different this time…
Is the new Hummer an electric vehicle? Yes, it is, and there’s nothing else like it.
New Hummer Specs
The all new GMC Hummer is game changer for the electric vehicle market. With an available 1,000 horsepower and 11,500 lb-ft (yes, those are the official numbers), the new Hummer EV can do 0-60 mph in about 3 seconds. It has a GM-estimated 350-mile range. It charges quickly too, getting 100 miles in about 10 minutes on a L3 DC fast charger.
