The Super Duty name is no joke. This generation of F-350 models can pull up to 26,500 lbs and has a max payload of 7,260 lbs. It has two different engines: a 6.2L V8 and a 6.7L V8 PowerStroke turbodiesel. The 6.2L V8 puts out 385 horses and 405 lb-ft of torque. The 6.7L PowerStroke produces 440 horsepower and 860 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are mated to a six-speed automatic. Available trims include XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum trims.
The newest generation of F-350 models upped the ante. By a lot. Towing capacity maxes out at 32,500 lbs, a full 6,000 lbs more than the previous generation. The F-350 comes standard with an updated 6.2L V8. It has 385 horsepower and an improved 430 lb-ft of torque. There are two available options: the 7.3L “Godzilla” V8 and the 6.7L V8 PowerStroke turbodiesel. The 7.3L V8 pumps out 430 horses and 475 lb-ft of torque. The 6.7L PowerStroke produces 475 horsepower and 1,050 lb-ft of torque. Each engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
